With the prices of all items soaring, i just thought what can we buy with Rs. 1?
1.Betal leaves
2.Ginger
3.Green chillies

In tamil nadu we could get

1. Choclate for 1 rupee
2. water packet for 1 rupee
3. Eraser for 1 rupee
4. Banana for 1 rupee
5. 2 A4 sheets for 1 rupee
6. 1 xerox copy

This what all i can get in my mind now

When I go to the market, the farmers say that they would not give curry leaves for 1 Re.
Minimum amount to but curry leaves is 2 rupees..... Thats the state in Hyderabad...

And Green Chillies, they give fingers full of green chillies for 3 rupees.. thats the minimum amount... :(

In Pune, we get only the last item for a Rupee!!! Talking of bananas, we get it 3 or max 4 bananas in 10 rupees.
