There are different kinds of emergencies and preparations for each would be different. As we have seen in the incident that took place yesterday in Mumbai in which the roles of the police administration and hospital authorities were most important. Happily both did a very good job at the crtical hours!

If it is concerned with Mumbai blast kind of events which happened yesterday, govt should beef-up the security and put the vulnerable areas of the country on high alert. They need to install CCTV cameras at the heavy traffic places which should be monitored round the clock to avoid any untoward incidents.
