Ruling party and opposition both are not sincere in smooth functioning of parliament. congress is not interested in JPC as this will include non congress M.P.s as well. Congress can easily manipulate other types of inquiries.

This is the habit of so-called leaders to score brownies points and to portray themselves as the defneders of democracy!
The reason why it happens is because the MLAs areonly interested in displaying their vocal abilities and enjoy indulging in shouting matches, and least interested in resolving issues at hand with proper discussions!

The well-reasoned and articulate debates are things of the past in parliament which have been replaced by discordant noises!
If congress feels so they have to come down and order a JPC enquiry.

A JPC probe is not the answer to the kind of corruption we are witnessing in our country. If the leaders have any desire to save the country they must shed their corrupt mindset!
I think they fear JPC as they would have no enough control on such a body.

This is obvious. Otherwise Congress would have agreed easily to JPC inquiry.

Yes, there is someone from Congress in this scam and that may be an important person also. That is why they are firm in their stand.

I think it's not the fear of exposure of any important leader but loss of prestige in conceding the demand of the opposition that appears to be the reason!
