What happens when someone touches our nerve?

We commit a lot of mistakes, speak lies and never accept our mistakes. That is the reason why we are not progressing.

Let us make ourselves strong enough to listen to our negative criticism and learn to mend our drawbacks.

How long will we continue to hide under our own shadow rather than agree to the stark reality that we are not absolutely perfect.

This is a psychological difficulty. everyone likes to show his superiority. Admitting mistakes will lower his prestige. However, this tendency is not healthy. Each one of us makes mistakes. Nobody isinfallible. Pointing mistakes of others and admitting own mistakes are necessary for overall improvement of whole system. Individual ego should be replaced by social conscience. This is individual ego that disables admitting mistakes rather than thanking and correcting.

Getting on your nerves means > getting angry right (some one making you angry)? Are you talking about controlling anger OR Accepting that we are not perfect? I am a little confused about topic.
That is true Mr.Gulshan Kumar.Accepting that we are not perfect is a 'psychological difficulty'.I do not have that prestige issue though.
It is "touching your nerve"
By that I mean that we get a shock when we are caught committing some mistake... having caught unawares...

but person can accept suggestion from those person who are more perfect than us and can listen them but we are at same type so try to improve ourselves without blaming to each other.

Mistakes and crimes can be caught by anyone... mostly by the security guards...

If we are caught on a CCTV doing 'shop lifting'in a mall the security guards, who are not considered equivalent to us, will catch us and hand us over to the police...
