The present Central Government is unfortunately giving too much importance to playing one religion against another, and trying to divide the country on communal basis.
What we need is the urgent need to revitalize the rural areas and give our farmers the scape to grow. It is in this context that the so-called initiatives of the Union Government need to be reviewed.
Little has been done, though the Union budget of 2016, is trying to reverse the trend. Economists, social scientists, environment experts and the technocrats have to chip in with suggestions, which are really viable, to increase creation of jobs at every stage and in every possible area.
For example, some good start ups like Practo, Paytm, Flipkart and the like have given employment to several thousands of educated Indians. What is needed is a great deal of creativity in tapping the unmet needs that needs to be explored even more. Brain-storming of a very tall order is also called for.
What we need to urgently do is to focus on real action and work out suggestions that will lead to meaningful and viable results.
