If one looks at the animal kingdom, animals frequently keep changing partners and they consider it as a normal thing. Man is the only animal required to live in a monogamous relationship and he does a very bad job in mainlining it. These days over 60% of married men and women end up having an extramarital relationship. The result is often bitter and leads to violence, arguments, divorces and even murders. Is monogamy truly possible?

Actually monogamy arises from social customs and not natural instinct. On the other hand, animals go by natural instinct. True love may not necessarily be also ever lasting. You may be truly loving at the moment but nothing can be said about future. Not love- true or false- but social responsibility is main basis for monogamy.

Man by nature is polygamous.. If some are less polygamous, some are more.

So, should the concept of monogamy and marriage be dispensed away?
