We all know what a Central Bank means in modern economy- controlling banking and currency system, foreign exchange, monetary system. Our country central bank is the Reserve Bank of India.

What I understood from the link you gave, though there are countries without a central bank, there are some institutions in those respective countries functioning successfully like any central Bank in any country.

A Central Bank may not exist yet the functions must be discharged by some other system. So, cuch countries have alternate mechanism.

these country may be small country like Vatican city. Any bank of these country may be working as central bank.

No bank in these country is Central Bank. But they have alternate arrangement for functions that would be done by Central bank of country.
