B) Now India government is planing to ban port sites. If it is possible that it good for our children.

Sex has been there since the time man came into being and is a necessary part of our life ! Pornography may be a recent trend but by banning it nothing would be achieved.All that the government would do is encourage blackmarketing....what about all the porn videos that are around? will they ban those as well?

True. Banning anything only increases its attraction among the people, and sex is such a thing that its charm, desire or whatever one chooses to call it will never fade. It is an instinct that is deeply rooted in each and every person and banning pornography will not serve any purpose. There are numerous ways in which it will still be promoted and floated around. It will indeed encourage black marketing to a large extent and the as usual the beneficiaries will be sundry politicians etc.

Porn has always been there. There is lot of such literature in ancient Indian tradition. Before arrival of internet, porn was sold on pavements. One famous ancient book on sex is 'Kok Shastra'. It is time we stop blaming cinema, TV and western culture and work for self improvement.

But where it comes to teenagers and under age children, there should be strict regulations and enough security filters so that they cannot access such material easily, instead healthy and open education and discussion on sex should be promoted and encouraged so that they are able to decide for themselves what is best in their interests. Simply banning is neither a solution nor an alternative to proper education.

Exactly ! any ban should come from within.I too hate the pornographic sites since most of them are so unreal , disgusting and distasteful ....But a large number of online users are hooked on it which is a fact and it is their choice.Banning only increases craving and gives rise to underhand dealings and black market sales !

You are right but pirated is available only in 10 to 20 Rs. But watching any film is cinema hall is too much expensive. It is the reason for buying pirated CD. Government should make rule that original CD should be released with is 15 days of its premier. And it is also available at reasonable price.
