Meditation makes our soul and body chasty. Meditation is good medicine for all kinds of diseases. It is also a way to get moksha.

In spite of emergence of Buddhism as a reaction to Orthodox Hindu tradition, we cannot ignore that Buddha religion was just a negation of everything. Buddha first renounced everything. He was disgusted with realities of life- sickness, old age and death. When he formed religion, he simple introduced an army of beggars (so called Bodh Bhikhus).

We used to clean our vessels daily. Like that we should clean our thoughts by meditation.

I have had similar thoughts about Buddha, no doubt that he felt elevated but it is not possible for all people to do that .we have to face life and mature as individuals instead of running away from difficulties...
Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!
