Chartered Accountancy is indeed the best course for commerce students. The chartered accountants are eligible for statutory audit of companies, tax audit and various finance, audit and taxation services.
The other options are company secretaryship, cost accountancy, degree courses in commerce. Also, one may simultaneously study for more than one course. It is advisable to study B.Com and C.A. simultaneously.

Even I am not a commerce student but I think CA is the best option one has after doing 10+2 from commerce but mind you its not that easy to do that one has to do lot of hard work to get success in it. :)
Chartered account is the best thing to have good future. But it is very difficult exams when you have succeeded in exams then you never turn back side.
