If you get a chance to look at the photographs of 19th Century & early 20 the Century , You will feel heaven.
It is said old is gold. But old has antique value. Technological advancement is an improvement. Photography has also undergone many changes. Now people generally like color photo and color movies. Black and white TVs have given way to color. There is color in nature. So to be natural, color must be added to images. This is what technology has made possible.

Sir, I don't want to ask anybody to go for black & white photographs. It is not a clever move also. My point is I Love Black & white Photographs. Those photographs give me immense pleasure.
Black and white photography and even old black and white films have a great charm of their own and there is certain amount of mystery as well since you have to guess many things that are there..Some new Hollywood directors too have experimented and made black and white films , the most famous one being Schindler's list which had just one small scene in color...

I too like collecting black and white pictures and am trying to get the age old photos of my ancestors redone.By the way nowadays you even have the technique where new pictures can be given an old ancient look...

Oh yes, you can find a lot of them on the net...I came across a lot of old black and white white pictures of Bangalore city in the late forties and it is really amazing o see them , so also some other cities...
