    Legal rights for woman are -
    1. Funadamental Rights
    2. If she is 1st wife and she is not divorced by her husband, she can exercise all her legal rights and claims on her husband, his family and property, Unless he mentions in his will about property right.
    3. If divorced, she looses all rights and claims on her husband. In case of children, the right may be given to her, if not objected by the Court on petition submitted by her husband.

    Apparently, same issue is repeated. The wife has the right to maintenance and conjugal rights. On divorce, she gets right to maintenance and residence. The amendment to law will allow her share in husband property as decided by court.

    I hope that you have been so far amused by 'women rites'. The 'rites' also differ in different communities. The 'last rites' of women are performed by husband whereas those of a man by his son.

    I hope difference between 'rights' and 'rites' are clear to all. But it is obvious that all really meant 'rights' and not 'rites'.

    Chinmoy was so amused that he has not given his useful comments on the topic in spite of superior knowledge.
