i also respect all because we all have different working styles some prefer doing slow and some fast.so aal ie well
He he.. Yes.. Everyone is having their own style.. Slow or Fast, but if they are satisfied with their progress then they win the race already.
In my opinion, 'slow and steady wins the race' proverb means every work should be done with heartful. For that, work may be slow or fast.
but today the one who work faster and that too accompanied by smart work are appreciated more than the slow ones.

Definition of fast varies for everyone.I think whatever i do is fast but it may be slow for others. :)
I think this dictum is warning against one who is in a hurry! One can be fast as well as steady!!
Yes Sanjeev when we are going fast we can see others are coming slow we think that they are coming slow and we forget we are going fast.
Slow and wins the race is very good saying. but slow and wins the race means it not the meaning that you slowly do the things and you will win. It means you do your things as you can but dont be hurry and wrong. Do everything peacefully in your manner.

The proverb 'slow and steady wins the race' is moral drawn from the story of race between hare and the tortoise. The hare ran fast and being self confident slept and when he woke up and began running, he found that tortoise had won.

As long as hare is careless and sleeps or halts during the race, tortoise can win. Otherwise hare only will win.

Hence, fast and steady will definitely win. Slow and steady may win if the fast one is lazy.

We should be steady and also increase our speed or skill.
Sanjeev slow and steady wins the race it is applicable in life but not in all situations.

I agree with Sasi. It all depends on situation.
so read the story Rabbit and Tortoise, It will help this type of question.

After reading the story only i have started this thread.I just wanted to know that in today's time also tortoise wins from rabbit.
That depends. In todays life and generation, some time we need to be like tortoise and some times rabbit. according to the situation we need to be.

Hihihi Sarala Can you illustrate with an example when should we act like and tortoise and when to be like rabbit? :woohoo:
i can give you example-1) In slow cycle race we should act like tortoise.. :woohoo:  :P :P
2) In exams we should act like rabbit otherwise we will not be able to complete our paper in time.
I mean we should be like rabbit to the people who observe us and but we should be like tortoise
thanks sarala. those both examples are my personal experience. have participated in slow cycle race too and exams we all have faced even you too.

Slow cycle race??

In marathon too they have to be a rabit in the last rounds to win. :woohoo:

But exam are designed in such a way that even the tortoise could be able to finish it with in the time limit. :woohoo:
if so then why always my maths paper not get completed within the time limit.why while writing theory papers my first answer ends in 1:30 mins and the last one in 15mins.am i slower than tortoise? :(
