    If Congress and BJP both deteriorate, the left and regional parties will get a chance to form alternative government. even if not, they will coerce Congress, BJP or both to support the third front. In this eventuality, Mulayam singh, Mayavati, or any one else may get a chance to lead the government. We had such experiment in the past.

    We must understand role of political parties. MPs vote according to party affiliation. Mulayam singh belongs to Samajavdi Party. He or some other from Non Congress and Non BJP may be prime Minsiter if both congress and BJP are weakened.

    I think its possible SP position is strong in UP and if they able to do same in some other state in future then no doubt Mulayam singh will be PM

    Santosh it depends on "The God of Politics". For the time being lets hope Manmohan Singh as the only person to remain PM of India. Many MPs are fighting in queue for the PMship.
