Do you wish people on their Birthdays/

I like wishing people on their birthdays if they like or don't. But, I don't wish only for chocolates and sweets.

A real incident occurred on last Nov19th, when I called my friend, to greet her happy birthday.
But, her father-in-law took phone and told, she delivered a boy yesterday.
Actually, I was confused...whom should I wish...mother or kid????
In the confusion, I forget the gender of the kid and assumed myself that it's boy. Spread news among our degree group that she delivered a boy.

It was corrected about 1 month later :P

Actually I escaped by putting full blame on her saying, "It is the duty of a friend to inform her friends about such happy moments of life. If not done, such mess ups may occur. So, it's your fault"

but its not correct. As we are friends we should find out our friends birthdays and make a list according to the sequence of months. then we should wish them .

When I know the birthday of that person I will definetely wish him.

I do when I know it but sometimes I don't remember birthdays

I keep a list of all my dearones birthdays in my sticky notes of my laptop as when i on my laptop i can see whose birthday is on that day. then i call or message them and wish them. they will feel happy

yes i do wish people on their birthdays as thet will feel happy because i too wait for phone calls and messages on my birhday.

I wish my friends and relatives on all their important days including birthdays.
