Very funny. If the world is definitely to end, do what you like most. But I am not convinced about the end of world in 2012. Hence, i'll do as usual.

They are lucky to know so early that the world will not end in 2012. Had they known this at end of 2012, they would be penniless beggars in 2013.

If you believe that the word will end by end of December 2012, you will not work and spend all your money. Thus, at the end, you will be penniless. If the world really ends, no problem. But if not, you will have to beg others for your expenses. Thus, you will be penniless and also a beggar.

World is ofcourse not going to end in 2012, same issue was raises years back, I don't remember exact , few years back there were same kind of rumours, though I don't remember exact year.
