I think small businesses like grocery shops where products rolls out or sales quickly. Apart from this, Cyber cafe business could also come under this category...!
If you have money,then i would prefer you to do the propertry business.Buying land is good and it will provide you double or triple profit.
At small scale,the risk is very less and hence you can have any sort of businesslike business of clothes.
I think share market can give a extraordinary profit in less time ,but it may not be also.
Share market investments- speculative or genuine, short term or long term- is not business. However, investment consultancy, services and share broker activities are business. These also need huge investment and may not be so profitable.
Any manufacturing or trading activity that involves quick turnover even though margin may be less will be more profitable.
