You need to register in naukri.com and monsterindia.com then you can get lot of job to apply just try for some interviews I am sure you will get job definetly.

1.Deloitte http://careers.deloitte.com/india/experienced-professionals/gateway.aspx

2.Accenture http://careers.accenture.com/in-en/Pages/index.aspx

3.Apply for RBI exam probationary officer, you might get chance as IT officer

You have choices- either go for a private job and apply directly in their website, they will contact you

the other choice is applying in banks.Once you get through in bank, your life will be a cakewalk-all facilities you will have,safety security,etc etc...

The thing is, even i was at the stage where there was no job at hand so i did all possible what i said

I attended all job fairs in universities at Hyderabad, I applied for wipro,deloitte,google,accenture

I even wrote bank exams of probationary officers like sbi,SAIL,GAIL,Andhra Bank,even IAS prelims

But finally i got job from the job fair i Attended.till that time i used to teach in a college just because i love teaching...

I am happy in my job now.initially hard work pays!!!!!!!I had wasted so much time filling my profile in all the portals and i even got fed up...but i didnot lose hope.

I feel life is challenging when we face the challenge and go through it and not sit in a corner and lose hope....

Sumit i think many working people do not have time to visit boddunan or else you directly PM them for help. I hope you know some SE's in boddunan. I suggest you to register in linkedin site. where you can directly interact with companies.

You are staying in Mumbai. Lots of placement consultancy firms are present in Mumbai. Just go to any magazine book store and get the latest edition of placement consultancy list book. It will provide all database of recruitment firms present in Mumbai. After that, with all those database just walk in all small,big, reputed and not reputed placement consultancy firm and drop in your resume there. Just make sure to have small informal chat with the placement executive while submitting your resume. Even try to walk in software company and try to meet HR manager and submit your resume with them. Most of the HR manager wont entertain you, but there may be a chance that out of 50 companies you visit, one company may keep your resume and even may ask you for an interview. Besides all these submit your resume with all online placement consultancy sites and keep updating your resume. Initially, if you get a job with small pay-scale just accept it so that you gather experience. Your experience do count for getting a job.If your resume shows a gap, it create a bad impression on HR dept. towards you.
Just follow them and you will definitely get a job. Even try to search in Pune,which is an IT hub(Hinjewadi area).
