    Yes they are important in society, If the women are educated, the whole society will progress... Thats why they hold an important position....

    yes today in the modern world women is not less than the man moreover they are better than man these day.

    I dont think they have special role though they play multiple roles and perform multiple activities. If they have special position in society i think crimes against girl child do not occur. They have equal position as men that i agree which is proved by their active participation in all professions.
