    Student life is for making future citizens. Politics is an important part of human life. The student unions are groomers of future politicians. many political leaders of today were active student union activists before entering politics. Student unions are formed at college/ university level. These play important role.

    well,more important than theoretical knowledge is the practical aspect. many managerial activities takes place in a students union hence we need to encourage students union to join politics.

    As long as these unions engage themselves in constructive activities I would support them but going by personal experiences these unions owe their allegiances to one political party or other.In recent times there has been violence,murder in college campuses in my state.My stand is against this kind of involvement of students!
