The N.D. Tewari paternity case is unique. Here an illegitimate son is claiming right as lawful son. This reminds of the Hindi movie TRISHOOL featuring amitabh Bachan as illegitimate child of Sanjeev Kumar.
Personally, I feel that courts should not interfere in such cases. We need to change social norms rather. An unwed mother is single parent and her child should respect and regard her only. Let the illegitimate father remain in the dark. It is okay for a woman to claim her rights. This right should not extend to her child.
