It's the holy month for Muslims.
But it's very sad that when whole Kerala celebrates Onam, most times, they will be fasting!!!!!

But it's very sad that when whole Kerala celebrates Onam, most times, they will be fasting!!!!!
They fast during day only. The can take food during night. They observe fast during certain hours only- end in evening and begin next day morning at prescribed timing. So, they may observe Onam during eating hours.

Though Onam is a Kerala festival, muslims believe it as a Hindu festival. So, they never celebrate Onam. But it's not the case of Christians.
In Kerala, only Christians and Hindus celebrate Onam. Strange, but true :evil:

I have heard that if we fast, we could remain away from fever. IS it correct.

I have heard that if we fast, we could remain away from fever. IS it correct.
Fast could help in digestive problems. Fever is not related to digestive system and hence fasting cannot help avoiding fever.
