    India is a rich country but the people are por because the resources we got are not utilised properly . Praying to god is not enough . God helps those who helps themselves.

    God is a hypothetical entity,, who has nothing to do with human problems. Poverty is a social problem. We have to sort out the problems of poverty and bring in a more just social order.

    Monalisa is right! Only those who help themselves by working hard and taking efforts to improve or change their economic condition will become self sufficient. Laziness is the bane of majority of our population which is why India is poor.
