ADHAR project is Right.
* It has full details of a perticular person in a single card.
* It will avoid duplication and frauds.
* Kepping a single card with all information is good.
* This card has been used for all identification proofs.

Actually, adhar is not a card but a number. This number may be quoted for various purposes- govt. social security and health benefits, bank account, railway reservation etc. A parliamentary committee has raised objection on the project because of high costs. Already heavy amount has been spent and if the committee view is expected and project discarded, the amount already spent will go waste. It was wrong to implement the project before getting report and recommendation from the parliamentary committee and deciding on that. It goes to show that the government does not take the parliamentary committees seriously and thinks these these are just a useless formality.
In many countries there is unique identification number. But in India all system has loopholes. So people had a negative thought that all these data may be used for some other purpose especially for discrimination. That is why most of the people keep away from the project. What are your opinion?
