I do not think that the reason why everyone managed to defeat us is because we are tolerant people, that is a good and enduring quality in fact. But the reason for our defeat lies may be in the fact that at every point of history, we have been betrayed by our people at each step, and many others who tried to force stupid and irrelevant ideas of nonviolence! (do not confuse this with Mahatma Gandhiji. there were others too)
I second that...We have far too many bad eggs within our own society who are ready to change sides and betray the country and its people !

Exactly. The plot was to kill two birds with one stone. But they have got bitterly exposed and now are crying foul. One must credit them though they have given to the country a new leader of great maturity

Thank you Vijay. No doubt, the fascist and subversive forces are presently dominant. They are dominant here also. But they cannot be allowed to have their way. Moreover, I am not actually writing for a few members who are active here. There are many who are not even members and just read the posts. You may check anytime the number of persons visiting the sites. Non members far outnumber and it is actually for them that I write. They will certainly see what is right and wrong. If the visitors get only a distorted version of everything, they will feel that this site is also a wing of RSS just like Bajarang Dal, Vishwa Hindu Parishad.

It is true that Pro Kashmir slogans were raised in JNU campus. But the police arrested only the innocent who never raised such slogans. It is natural that the Kashmir azaadi slogans would be raised by Kashniri- student or outsider. But the police are believed to have been directed not to even touch any Kashmiri in view of BJP- PDP liaison in the state of J & K.

I may state here that I have not deliberately stopped drinking alcoholic drinks. This just happened even without my giving any thought to this. In fact, as mentioned by another member in the thread, beer is also beneficial. I agree that alcoholic drink especially beer benefits also.

Gulshanji, yesterday I returned from Abu Dhabi after a month. There are muslims, christians and Hindus there. There is however no comunial tension. As the hindus Christians accept suzerianity of Islam. But inIndia we always talk of comunial tension becuse majority communuty in India does not matter and minority is more important. Kindly think about it.
Minority does not enjoy any privilege in India. There are some concessions for scheduled castes (as long as they are Hindu) and scheduled tribes. There is need for fair treatment to all irrespective of religion. The narrow minded saffron brigade has distorted version of History, nation and nationalism and they are spoiling the environment. This is what needs be resisted. There is no reason why minorities accept the hegemony of majority. India is a large nation and the minorities are in fact majority in many reasons. In such scenario, the inclination to force so called Hindu Rashtra concept is really sure way to divide the nation, which is truly an act of sedition. Secularism is the only way and any deviation from this is anti nationalism.

It is fallacious to say that India was occupied ever by Muslims or Christians. There was never any attack by 'Muslim' on 'Hindu'. Muslims as such never attacked, In fact, the so called Muslim rulers fought even against each other. There were many dynasties like Ghulam, Suri, Tughlak, Khilji that ruled time to time. The 'Muslim' rulers had 'Hindu' ministers and vice versa. Also the British, Dutch, French- all even fought against each other. The entire history is war between kings and Kulaks. The religion of the ruler does not matter so much. Just as Muslim rulers employed Hindu Ministers, the Hindus also employed Muslim. Religion has nothing to do with rule. Maharaja Ranjit Singh was a Sikh but he employed French (Christian) as military advisers.
There is one more thing to consider. The quality like compassion and cruelty are not related to religion. These are racial. The Pathans and Baluch are considered cruel. Hence you may say Muslims are cruel. This is fallacy. The Arabs, Pathans and Baluchs have gther distinct traits and it matters little what their religion is. a Punjabi Hindu has more in common with Punjabi Muslim than what a Punjabi Muslim has with Baluch Muslim. A Hindu Assamese has more in common with Muslim Assamese than what A Hindu Behari has with Hindu Assamese.
Unless you stop looking at everything from narrow religious angle, you will always have a distorted version of everything. Better think Indian and be true nationalist or patriot.

There is no evidence of the contents of the thread. Muslim rulers did not force sharia on Hindus and British did not force Christianity. Most of the conversions to Islam are Christianity are because of ill treatment to lower castes treating them as very inferior even less than animals. There are many contradiction in Hindu. This came to surface recently in the controversy of Durga Goddess V/s Mahisasur. It will be better that vices like caste discrimination, dowry be first rectified. India is a secular nation and will never be either Islamic or Hindu. Nepal has removed the status of official religion so far given to Hindu. It is learnt that Bangladesh is also going to abolish the status of official religion presently accorded to Islam.
