Sharing is good habit. It teaches us to take care for others. Often we have many things which others do not have. We can share those things with others. In this way, we can make them happy. It will also make us happy.
To know the value of sharing in a better way, read the following story. Amar and Suresh were studying in III standard.
Suresh’s parents were rich. He used to come to school in a car. He wore costly dress. Amar’s parents were poor. He came to school on foot. His dress was very simple. Amar and Suresh shared the same desk in the class. Amar did not have al the course books. Suresh had to share his books with Amar. He did not like it. Suresh complained this to his mother. His mother was very simple. She said nothing.
One day, the teacher announced that a tour to Agra will arrange next Saturday. All the children had to deposit rupees 300 the next day. Suresh was happy but Amar was sad. Amar knew that could not deposit this much money.
Suresh went to home and told his mother about it.
His mother said, ``Do you want Amar to go to tour?’’
``Yes mummy! But how can he?’’ Suresh replied.
His mother said, `` I know that his parents cannot pay for it. But you can help him. You have a lot of pocket money. You can share it with them.’’
``Oh yes mother, I can,’’
Next day, Suresh deposited money for Amar. Amar was very happy. He thanked Suresh many times.
Suresh Amar became fast friends from that day. It is rightly said, ``sharing brings happiness.’’ people love you share things. It shows your concern for others. God shares his goodness with us. So, we should share whatever we have with others.
