Who is God?
Where can we find Him?
God is like the wind.
We cannot see Him but we can feel Him.
God is every where.
He is inside us and around us.
He is at home with us and at temple.
There is no place with out God.
Thank, you God!
God has given us many things, rainbows and ice cream, sunshine and flowers, little babies and cuddly toys, don’t forget homework!
He’s given us things to do too, spelling and drawing, cycling and swimming, don’t forget singing and dancing!
God has given us many nice things to love, mothers and father, grandpas and grandmas, teachers and friends, don’t forget our little pets!
For all these things we say a big `thank you’.
Understand
It is important to find some time to think about God. This can be done very simply. Sit quietly and breathe deeply. Close your eyes and think of that entire God has given you. Think of the trees and the flowers, the white clouds, the sun stars, the parrots, the crows, the giraffes and the butterflies. Now breathe deeply again. Open your eyes and see the world.
Although we cannot see Him, God is always with us. We can talk to Him. We can tell Him anything we like. We can pray to Him. We can also do some things for God. We can sing, dance, be good, offer flowers or pray. We can thank God very quietly in our mind or we can shout it out loudly.
We can sing and dance with joy. We can write a bout God. We can draw the things we wish to thank God for and color them beautifully. There are many ways of thinking about God. There are many ways of thinking Him. The important thing is to do it from our hearts.
