History Of English:
Sir Lord Macaulay was the one who was responsible for the introductions of compulsory teaching of english in Indian schools. His concept was: "Instead of the British people learning 15 or more Indian languages to rule our country they thought it would be better that If they compel Indians to learn English". The Indians act accordingly and instead of having scrappy knowledge in english they made a better knowledge of english and learnt to spoke and write english. There were Indian scholars in England with a better knowledge of english . This is the story that Indians of all states, languages, religions, and castes to fight for Indian political Independence were united.
