Dr. Edward Bach
Dr Edward Bach was the well-known physician, homeopath and bacteriologist. He studied medicine in Birmingham. In 1930 he gave up his practice and decided to dedicate his rest of life for treating patients in a natural way. Dr. Bach believed that any disharmony or negativity in mind leads to the physical health problems. And when this disharmony is restored then the physical illness goes away and the human being gets cured. He started researching on plants and over the years of his research he started finding the remedies which helped in people of different personalities and mental distress.
He believed that when the morning sunlight falls on the dewdrops present on the flower the healing power is transferred from flower to the dew drops. So he would collect those dew drops from the flower or plants and preserve them with alcohol and then dilute it to form the mother tincture. This way he developed the 38 Bach Flower Remedies in five years. These remedies contain small amount of flower dilution and water or alcohol.
