TEST OF BRAVERY
“When problems come in life, weak people lament and cry. But these unlucky people don’t understand that friends are tested in bad times itself.”- Swami
Vivekananda
How nice it had been if life were full of only happiness and joy. But this doesn’t happen ever to anybody. Troubles fall upon us like uninvited guests and they fall like lightning in the dark sky. Then, neither one nor two, may troubles come and it appear that they are not going to be over. We are unable to understand why God created troubles. Why not were our life just joyful, if God really loves us?
Actually, these troubles are true tests of bravery. Any body can smile in good times. But it is not a big deal at all. We should consider it brave only when we can smile even in troubles. We have read in Ramayana that Sri Ram was smiling alike when he heard news of his being made King and when he was said to go to forest for 14 long years. That’s why he is considered an Ideal Brave.
Oppositely , weak people enjoy on receiving even a small happiness and they cry on receiving even very small trouble. They can’t be said braves.
Truly speaking, God created troubles just for testifying his creatures. He has failed his test of faith and strength, who cries in troubles. But one who stands like rock even in big troubles, one is true brave.
In the same way, true friends and true friendship are also tested in bad time. Everybody becomes frind in good days, but mean people leave us too in bad times. Those who don’t leave us and try to help us in any way possible, are true friends. This friendship is friendship of Braves. And this is test of bravery.
