Dr.Radhakrishnan, an Indian philosopher, in the prescribed peace "The World Community" emphasises the need for establishing a world government. Its great powers in the world must try to establish peace which is essential for the survival of the human race.

The human race is a invloved in a new stage of history. We profound changes, spreading over the whole world. Nuclear weapons threaten the society. This world is too small for nuclear weapons. Hence we must think calmty and deply and try to put an end to this problem.

Radhakrishnan wishes that issues which were decided by wars so far should here after be decided by other means conflicts and disputes between nations should be settled by a world organisation. Such world organisation should be provided with powers to maintain law and order. the present moral social and political conditions of the world have to be altered to have a world community.

From the beginning of human history, prophets and philosophers have asked us to change ourselves by religious devotion. Alexander, Asoka, Harsa and Akbar were humanitaroans because of their devotion to religoons. Jesus preached comparsion and righteousness. Maxmuller felt the necessity of world community. Because of scientific inventions the world is becoming a single whole. Hence we must enrich our wisdom and produce a higher international etics to solve problem peacefully.

If the world is to become a community all the people should share common ideals and purposes. All should be loyal to the world commuinty. We have already met with two grat world wars. Now we desire to get rid of wars. The United nations organisations which has been formed to establish peace in trying to free nations from political domination, racial oppression and economical exploratation. All nations should against poverty. All must work for the social revolution.
