The older you grow the wisher you become
Birth, child hood, young and old, after died this is life.
Experience is a wise and trusty teacher. In the early part of our life, it is possible to get know things. As children and in boyhood and youth mistakes are committed and later it is from these mistakes we learn how leading correct lives. Wisdom cannot be got in a day. ``Rome was not built in a day’’. This applies equality well to acquisition of knowledge. Only when we grow older we learn from our mistakes.
Life in this world gives experience and this experience adds to knowledge. Hence, unless one is a born genius one cannot be expected to be wise early in life. Only with age one can grow wiser. Moreover, when we grow older, we come into contact with others in life and also get acquainted with good books which teach us the way of life. Hence it cannot be denied that as we grow older we also become wiser.
Youth is the best part of life. I one’s youth one’s mind is fresh and receptive. There are great opportunities for travel, for reading, for meeting people and such beneficial activities. But as we grow older, we get into complexities of life. Our duties and responsibilities increase. We become answerable to many people for many things. Hence, there will be little scope to increase knowledge.
Besides this, it must be remembered that human faculties get weakened as we grow older. If at all wisdom has to be acquired, it must be done before senility sets in. thought experience may give us knowledge, this experience can be best gained only in youth and not when we become older. When age descends upon us there will be lessening of opportunities, more of tension, and, what is more, we get into the out of routine and cannot get out of it. Hence it is not true that we become wiser as we row older. This is another side of the same coin.
