Recipe: mint vadai

 

Required:

 

Pasumathi  rice - 500 gram.

China  Garlic - 50 gram.

Cinnamon - 2 pieces.

Glove  - 3

Ginger  - 1 piece.

Green chili - 8.

Mint  leaves - 2 bundles.

Lemon  juice - 2 teaspoon.

Big onion - 3.

Coconut  milk - 1 glass.

Oil - 100ml

 

Steps:

 

Soak the rice for 1 and a half hours. After that Grind the Mint, ginger, Garlic, Green chili. Cut the onion into Vertical and long pieces. Filter the rice which is with water. Pour the oil into a big cooker. After it gets heated, Put the cinnamon and glove into them with the onions and fry them. Afterwards put the grinded masala into the cooker. If you put 1kg of rice then you should pour 1 and a one and half liters of water. reduce the water by heating it upto it gets evoparated to the level of the coconut milk. After that put the rice, and add salt to it. After that close the cooker and after two whistles take it and put the mixture into the oil and fry it. Mint  vadai is ready.
