Chaos
It is true that the world is looking at India as an emerging superpower but the current government has made India most vulnerable than ever before. John Milton, one of the most famous English poet who wrote the epic poem "Paradise Lost", defined heaven as an orderly place and hell as full of chaos. This chaos can be associated with the current government run by Dr. Manmohan Singh. It means that if immediate action is not taken to overthrow this government, then it will definitely drag the whole of India to hell. The main reason behind this chaos is corruption and this had already spread like a cancer throughout this government. This condition has reached beyond repair and the only solution that remains is to root out this current corrupt system.
The Silent Prime Minister
When we look at the history of Indian prime ministers, we will observe that Dr. Manmohan Singh is the most dumbest Prime Minister we ever had. A Prime Minister like him, who is not capable of taking decisions spreads uncertainty along each and every part of the system. He rarely speaks and when he speaks we feel that his silence was even better. He was playing safe even when his colleagues got involved in many corruption scams but when coal mining scam surfaced, his silence proved lethal for him and his public image was completely ruined. The recent incidences of brutal rape cases proves that he is not capable of taking actions. Instead of taking immediate actions, his opinions also prove that he is trying to dodge the situation. In the recent Sarabjit murder case, he demanded justice from Pakistan but he said nothing about Hafiz Saeed, the mastermind behind Mumbai terrorist attacks. Hafiz is currently living in Lahore, under the protection of Pakistani police and his supporters. Pakistan are well aware of our Prime Minister and they know that Dr. Manmohan singh will do nothing unless he is put under pressure by the people of India. He has become either the target of public outrage or a cruel joke for the people of India.
A Joke For Neighbors
In the past India has never became a joke for its neighbouring countries but now under this current government India has become a joke in the Maldives, Pakistan, China, a enemy in Sri lanka, a doubt in Bangladesh and Nepal.
Maldives
The relationship between India and Maldives worsened when the government of Maldives prematurely terminated their GMR contract in December 2012. There are speculations that a Chinese company will be running the Male international airport. This already worsened relationship was completely deteriorated when Maldives requested China for a loan of Rs. 250 crore for an Information Technology project.
Pakistan
The relationship between India and Pakistan was always strained but it turned ugly under Dr. Manmohan Singh's government. The incidences which happened along the LoC during this year have been described as the worst border fighting in the past 10 years. It also involved the beheading of an Indian soldier by Pakistan army. The latest incident that mocks Indian government is the murder of Indian prisoner Sarabjit Singh in Pakistan jail. This incident proves that how weak is our Government's foreign policy. Instead of taking this issue of Sarabjit Singh on the international level, the government stood silent and left it on the family of Sarabjit to fight alone. If Manmohan Singh had taken some actions at the right time, then the death of Sarabjit Singh would not have happened.
China
The border disputes between India and China worsened in the past one year. The latest incident to join this list is the stand off between Indian and Chinese soldiers in the Ladakh border. The government failed to take any immediate actions but the stand off was finally resolved after 20 days. It is still not clear under what circumstances did China withdrew their troops from the border.
Sri Lanka
The relation between India and Sri Lanka was never hostile but it was also not smooth. Their enmity is not over boundaries but it is about the cruel treatment given to Tamils living in Sri Lanka. After the defeat of LTTE by the Sri Lankan army in 2009, it was hoped that this event will end the enmity between both the countries. The hopes died when India voted against Sri Lanka at United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) on March 21, 2013. This decision was made by Manmohan Singh's government. This decision not only worsened the relationship between India and Sri Lanka but it also proved costly for the UPA government because DMK withdrew its support from UPA.
Bangladesh
The current government supports the "Land Border" agreement with Bangladesh but this proposal is opposed by the opposition and many people have mixed opinions. Dr. manmohan Singh was hoping to distract the people of India from domestic issues by signing an historical Teesta treaty with Bangladesh but this attempt was derailed by Mamata Banerjee. This not only created indifferences between India and Bangladesh but it also created rifts between UPA Government and Trinamool Congress.
Nepal
The UPA government failed to maintain neighbourhood foreign policy with Nepal. When Nepal was threatened to be overtaken by Maoist forces, the Manmohan Singh government stool silent and followed a policy of appeasement.
The Second Innings Collapses
The UPA (United Progressive Alliance) government first came into power in 2004 after general elections. This first innings of UPA government was far better than its second innings. The UPA government again came into power in 2009 and Dr. Manmohan Singh retained his position as Prime Minister. During the initial stages of this second innings, allies were fighting with each other to become a part of Congress but when we look at the current scenario we can see that the only ally UPA now have is Sharad Pawar. Some people also blame the failure of this UPA government for breaking its coalition with the left front. There is a huge list of scams which can be associated with UPA2. This government has no time to look after the matters of public instead they are busy purchasing time and burying evidences against them. This second innings shows the arrogance of UPA because they thought that since the opposition has broken up, they can rule for another 20 years but they forgot the simple fact that India is a democratic country and when Opposition parties fade, then the people become the opposition.
