So let’s see some of the ways in which you could prevent these diseases:
- During summer the intense rays of the sun continuously dehydrates you. That’s why drinking cool, sweet liquids and eating light foods could be very healthy.
- Always eat something and drink lots of water before going out of the house into the hot sun. Never leave the house empty stomach.
- Try to avoid eating heavy or oily food during summer because during hot seasons our digestive system slows down, so the heavy food doesn’t digest properly. And if you overeat these heavy foods then you may suffer from vomiting and diarrhea.
- Wear loose cotton clothes with light colors.
- Whenever possible cover your head and face with a scarf before going out in the sun.
- Eat onions and also keep an onion in your pocket.
- Don’t consume cold drinks from outside. Instead consume some nutritious cold drinks that you could make in your home.
- Home-made cold drinks include butter milk, lassi, yogurt, orange juice, lemonade and many other such tasty health drinks.
- Apart from this you should also eat cucumber, spinach, lemon, watermelon, etc.
- Drink at least 2 to 3 litres of cold water every day.
- If you do yoga, then you could also practice ‘Sheetal and Chandra Bhedan Pranayam’.
