There are two types in health. These are body health and mind health. Many people think that money is the essential thing in their life. They try to earn money by sacrificing everything else. They give up their peace of mind and health for the sake of money. They must know unhealthy person cannot do consistent work. They indirectly ruin their working skill. Is it easy to get it back by using money, if we lose our health? It is true that we can buy medicines and get good treatment if we have money. But a person doest not become healthy merely by getting cured of his disease. It is his ill health that makes him susceptible to various diseases. A healthy person can resist the attack of diseases.
If we consider the importance of health, we give focus to two things. These are good food and good exercise. We should eat nutritious food. We should give simple exercise to every part of our body. Yoga is one type of exercise that gives good health and also peace of mind. Apart from these two things, proper sleeping is essential to healthy body and healthy mind. A normal person needs six to eight hours of sleep every day.
If body is healthy, that resembles in mind also. One can be a good person in society who posses healthy body and healthy mind. Alcohol affects body health and mind status. Smoking habit causes cancer. So avoid these bad habits. Read good books that enriches mind status. Good health and good mind are strong pillars on which success and prosperity can be built up. Proverbs like ‘Health is Wealth’ and ‘A sound mind in a sound body’ show the importance of health in human life. Don’t worry. Be happy. That extends your life.
