Rainy season brings not only rain, but also diseases to our home. Everyone must be careful in this season. You must protect your drinking water and food from contamination due to the rain because rain water causes lot of health problems. It is good to have food and water which are warm. In this article we are going to know few precautions about food and water which protect your health form rainy season.
Water: This is the most important thing which should be taken care in the rainy season. Never make water stagnant in your houses and surroundings. This stagnate water helps mosquitoes to breed in the ground under water. In rainy season the mosquitoes breed and carry many diseases like cholera, malaria and typhoid. The water which available in our house is also not good in this rainy season because this is due to pipe leakages in different places of underground pipes. These leakages enter dirt into the water and spread virus among the people who drink that water. So it is always better to drink the boiled water.
Outside food: It is good to avoid having outside food. As the food which we take outside is not prepared at clean environment . Try to avoid having food in the hotels in rainy season as they may not take precautions of cleanliness while cooking food. The food which we eat out side is affected with flies and mosquitoes which are transporters of diseases. In hotels, while servers while serving water they put their finger in the glass and while serving food they clean the table first and with the same hands they serves. These leads us to serval diseases. so when we visit hotel we must check whether the person who is serving food to us is wearing hand gloves or not. Germs are free radicals they travel easily from one source to another. We also don’t know when the food is prepared. So it is always better for us to avoid eating out side during rainy season.
Home food: We must take alot of care and good precautions also. even while preparing food in our house. When we finish cooking we must cover all food with plates. Before having fruits and vegetables we have to wash them with clean water finely and then use them in cooking or have them. Prefering to have vegetables is good for health in rainy season as it improves your immune system. Drink lot of water but warm water. Don’t forget to clean kitchen after completing cooking so that flies will go away from food items. Clean your hands and vessels finely, before taking lunch or dinner.
