High heels are dangerous for your health
Most girls want to look stylish and modern by wearing high heels without considering the health risks involved with this habit. Millions of girls who wear high-heeled footwear just to look taller than average girls do at the risk of health factor. Wearing high heels is a sure way of inviting undesired problems with it.

Very few girls wear high-heeled footwear to look taller but most of them wear these sandals to look fashionable and stylish. Moreover, thousands of girls who are tall enough but they still wear stiletto to look above average girls without knowing that they are at high risk of having strained muscles of their different body parts.
Body parts at risk by wearing high heels
Most of the girls suffer from pain in back, hips, knees, shoulders and other body joints. Women wearing such footwear for longer times suffer a high risk of knees transplantation as well. Most girls who begin wearing high-heeled foot wear at a tender age run a higher risk compared to women who wear for a change or for party purpose only. Most teenager girls using pencil heels suffer a risk of bad posture in long run due to unnecessary pressure on different body parts. Therefore, this is better to avoid this risky habit, which would be health hazard in the end.
Why some girls prefer them
In cases of short girls, they wear it to look taller because they feel the taller girls are more attractive than shorter girls are. What I fee that girls should not use more than 3 to 5cm high heels because wearing footwear with a heel of 10-12cm may cause too much harm to their shoulder mechanism and that becomes the main reason of permanent body pain especially feet even when they are not wearing those heeled shoes. Fashion and style should never be the priority while your health is at risk.
How does this affect
The fact is that most of the cases of backache, shoulder pain, knees problems and related pain are result of those very high heels. Another worth mentioning these heels may create is Chondromalacia a problem that generally caused by use of high heeled footwear in young people. This is a painful disease of kneecaps, which ends finally with a knee transplant. .There is another major problem, which may take place due to high heels known as bunion when the bone of the big finger in foot swells to abnormal level. There are some other problems those occur due to high heels including hammertoe that makes one unable to move due to severe pain.
Precaution to keep some of the problems away
1- Avoid heels more than 3-4cm
2- If you have to wear those big heels never wear these for longer duration
3- Never walk on them while you are out for a long vacation
4- If you must wear those high heels go for platform heels in place of pencil heels
5- Never wear them without practice for long period while you have to attend a party or dance etc. Use those for shorter duration before going out in high heels.
Finally make sure that you have an alternative arrangement while you are going out for longer duration in high heels because a prolonged use may cause problems, which would be painful as well as health hazards.
Look at your feet while purchasing a new pair
Every one has a different design of feet and every shoe even the same size does not fit every foot therefore; this is wise to be very careful while choosing a shoe for you. A wrong pair of shoe makes a big difference the way you walk and may cause you tiredness and even certain temporary and permanent problems. You should never follow the trend but your own comfort level should be more important for you. In case you have a paw, broad enough in front and you go for a shoe that is narrow in front that would make many problems for you within a very short time.
There should be a proper selection of shoes very carefully because this is matter of comfort and your health. The shoe should fit your feet very comfortably with a margin of 2-3 mm in front so that these may accommodate your feet without any pressure while you walk. There are some other precautions those will help you walk comfortably and without giving you any health problems-
1- Prefer evenings to buy a new pair of shoe because some people have swelling in their feet during the day and the shoe that fits your foot in the morning may feel tight in the evening.
2- Avoid wearing a new pair of shoe for more than a couple of hours, let your feet adjust to your new shoes to save some of the problems those may occur due to new shoes.
3- Try your best to go for shoes made of natural material because synthetic stuff may cause different problems especially, in climate of our country.
4- Your shoes should not weight more than you can feel comfortable with
5- Your new footwear should not give you any pain while you trying it out at the shop.
6- Finally, make sure you do not go for footwear with pointed heel.
Our country has a different climate
There are certain reasons for women going for stylish, trendy and fashionable shoes. This is not only the height that influences them to go for high heels and different shapes. We should keep in our mind that ours is a country with hot and humid weather most of the year therefore, we should go for shoes those are suitable to our weather conditions. Shoes those are not suitable to our weather conditions may cause-
1- Fungal and bacterial infections
2- Go for open sandals during summers if this does not violate the dress code at your work place.
3- Use talcum powder during summers to keep your feet free from fowl smell and fungal infections.
4- Avoid synthetic shoes if you are wearing shoes, cotton is the best for our kind of climate.
5- Keep your shoes under sun every occasionally to avoid bacteria.
Back to main topic, please avoid high heels especially pencil heels to keep yourself comfortable and trouble free. By the way I have seen women coming back walking bare feet while they were out for pleasure trips and dance parties. Longer duration trips demand that you should have an option of flat shoes or sandals so that you can use them while the party is over or you are feeling problem while walking in high heels.
