Undralla Payasam

Ingredients:

Dates – 10

Kaju – ¼ cup

Dry Dates – ¼ cup

Rice powder – 1 cup

Corn flour – 1 spoon

Cracked Rice – 1 cup

Mung Dal – 1 cup

Dry Coconut – ¼ cup

Salt – According to taste

Food color – 1 Pinch

Elachi Powder – ½ spoons

Preparation time – 10 minutes

Cooking time – 20 minutes

Preparation –

1.Soak Dates in a bowl and mung Dal in other bowl by adding water in it for an hour.

2.Now grind the soaked dates by adding water in it, so that to get 3 cups of juice.

3.Take another bowl and place it on the stove, then add 1 spoon of Ghee in it.

4.Now add cracked rice and rice powder in it.

5.Let them get cook for some time.

6.Now take dates juice into a bowl and add some salt into it. Then place it on stove.

7.Let this cook for some time.

8.Then add Mung Dal and Cracked rice & Rice powder & chopped coconut which we just fried.

9.Now mix all these ingredients thoroughly.

10.Then this mixture becomes thick in form. Now off the flame.

11.Let this mixture get cooled.

12.Then mould this mixture round in shape.

13.Now cook these moulds on steam for 5 minutes.

14.Take another bowl.

15.Now add coconut milk and sugar in it.

16.Let them boil for some time.

17.While boiling coconut milk, add those round moulds which we have prepared and cooked on steam.

18.After 5minutes mix food color color in 2 spoons of water.

19.Then add this in the coconut milk which is boiling.

20.Now fry kissmiss and kaju in Ghee

21.Then mix kissmiss and kaju in the mixture. Mix them finely.

Therefore Undralla Payasamis ready.
