“Badam ka Halwa” is a very tasty dessert which can be made very easily at home. This recipe looks very delicious and mouth watering. It can be made with only very few ingredients. Have a look at the procedure.
Ingredients:
1. Badam (Almonds) – 1 Cup.
2. Ghee – Half a cup.
3. Sugar – 1 Cup.
4. Milk – Half a Cup.
5. Kesar Color (optional) – A pinch.
Procedure:
1. Take a bowl and add a little hot water to it.
2. Now place badam in it and soak it for about half an hour.
3. Now remove the almonds and remove the skin of it.
4. Make a fine paste out of the badam by adding milk, if required.
5. Take a small bowl and add little milk and kesar to it. Keep this aside.
6. Now take a pan and add sugar to it.
7. Add a little water to it and wait till the sugar melts completely.
8. Now check the concentration of the sugar syrup prepared.
9. For preparing badam halwa, the sugar consistency should be of “one string”.
10. Now add kesar color to it, if required.
11. Mix this well.
12. Now add badam paste that is prepared and stir well to mix all the ingredients.
13. Add kesar and milk mixture and mix well again.
14. Check for the consistency required and add ghee to the pan.
15. Stir well and the take this mixture into a serving plate.
16. Garnish with almond flakes on the top and serve.

This is another taste and mouth melting recipe. This is mostly prepared in star rated hotels and many of the functions.
Ingredients:
1. Badam (Almonds) – 1 Cup.
2. Milk – 2 Cups.
3. Rice – Half a Cup.
4. Cardamom powder – 1 Tea spoon.
5. Saffron flakes - Half Tea Spoon.
6. Sugar – Half a cup.
Procedure:
1. Take a bowl with water and soak rice and half cup almonds in it for half an hour.
2. Take another small bowl and add saffron and milk to it.
3. After half an hour, take the soaked rice grains and almonds; make a fine paste out of it.
4. Take another half cup of remaining almonds and cut them longitudinally to make thin slices.
5. Now take a pan and add rice paste, sugar and milk to it and mix all the ingredients well.
6. Add the sliced almonds to it and stir well.
7. Remove it into the serving bowl and serve hot or chill; according to taste.

Kheer is an Indian traditional dish. This dish contains rice as a main item and would be made in different flavors.
In the recent times, this recipe has been modernized and made with many changes by adding dry fruits and essence to enhance its taste. Here is an excellent and tasty recipe of “Badam Kheer”. Have a look at the procedure.
Ingredients:
1. Almonds – Half a cup.
2. Sugar – 3 to 4 Table Spoons.
3. Milk - 2 cups Milk
4. Cardamom Powder – 1 Table Spoon.
5. Saffron – 2 to 3 flakes.
Procedure:
1. Take a small bowl with little milk and soak saffron in it for about half an hour.
2. Soak almonds also in another bowl and then peel their skin and make a fine paste out if them. Keep this paste aside.
3. Now take a thick bottomed pan and add milk to it.
3. Let the milk boil for sometime.
4. Now put the stove to low flame and add almonds paste to it. Let it boil again for some time.
5. Make it a point to stir well to check for the consistency.
6. When the milk is boiling well, add saffron and cardamom powder to it.
7. Now take the prepared kheer into serving bowl and serve this hot or chilled; according to the taste.

1. Almonds – 8 to 10 pieces.
2. Milk – 2 cups.
3. Sugar – Quarter cup, or according to taste.
4. Saffron flakes – 3 to 4.
5. Cardamom powder – Half table spoon.
6. Vinilla essence (optional) – 2 drops.
Procedure:
1. Soak almonds in water for about half an hour.
2. Peel out the skin and make fine paste out oft them.
3. Now take a thick bottomed vessel and add milk to it.
4. When the milk gets boiled, add sugar to it.
5. Now when the sugar gets dissolved, add badam paste and let it cook for sometime.
6. Now add cardamom powder to it.
7. Stir well and then remove it into a serving glass.
8. Garnish with saffron and sprinkled cardamom powder and serve chill.
