Ingredients:

¼ cup of Almonds

¾ cup of Sugar

3 ½ cups of Milk

4 pcs. Cardamoms

Few threads of Saffron

 

Instructions:

  1. Add water to a saucepan and boil the water. Add the almonds to the water when the water is boiled. Allow the almonds to boil for about 5 minutes till they get tender and the skin starts to come off. Drain out the water and allow the almonds to cool down. Then peel the skin off and discard it. Soak the threads of saffron in plain water.
  2. Add sugar to a blender along with the almonds. Blend them together till you get a smooth, creamy paste.
  3. Now add milk to a saucepan and let the milk boil.
  4. When the milk is boiled add the cardamoms to it. After that, lower the heat and add the almond paste to the saucepan. Stir the contents so that they blend together. Add the saffron thread to the mixture to give a colour to your drink.
  5. Your drink is now ready. You can chill the drink in the fridge and serve is cold to your guests.
