Story line:

The movie starts with Vasu (Aadhi), a cop setting out to investigate the death of a housewife Ramya (Sindhu Menon), who lives in an upper middle class apartment in Chennai. She was found dead in bathtub. she has left behind a suicide note taking up the responsibility of her death. As Vasu tries to enquire her neighbors and husband Prabhu (Nanda) – an automobile engineer who was in Mumbai during this incident, he is exposed to a truth that she had an affair with a stranger who used to visit her regularly. Later in a flashback, we are revealed to a secret that Vasu and Ramya were in love with each other during college days. The local bus stop is their meeting point. At a point, Ramya tells him, that his father is in lookout for a bride groom and they both decide that Vasu would meet her father in person. As planned, Vasu goes to Ramya’s house and meets her father. But Ramya’s father refuses for their marriage. Later Ramya marries a businessman Bala, get settled in Chennai and they look like leading a happy life till she ‘commits suicide’.and couldn’t marry due to her father’s disapproval.

Meanwhile serial of murders take place but all the dead has a relation in the apartment complex where Ramya resided. Also, all the death end up in watery graves. Vasu gets the shock of his life during the course of investigation.Finally his investigation leads to some startling facts as he starts seeing the ghost of Ramya.

In the second half of the movie Ramya's spirit  uses her sister Divya as a medium to reveal the truth about her death. Ramya tells that his husband Balakrishnan killed her because of the jealousy that he has connections with another guy who used to visit her frequently in the apartment. At the climax  Ramya's spirit takes revenge on Balakrishnan and he is handed over to police for killing his wife.

Musical score by Thaman are fine, but he could’ve tried tuning different melodies. All the songs sound much similar to each other. But he does a good job in background score. Hats off to cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa for his stunning cinematography. The film’s tone in blue goes much by the theme of dark and gloomy. But graphics seems to be much overloaded in certain shots, particularly with always seen dark clouds.

Songs:

* The movie has three songs and one theme music.
*  "Saaral En Saaral" song is Thaman's masterpiece in the album. Amazing to listen to, the song gets its life thanks to Ranjith's voice and beautifully  harmony by Thaman.
* "Tharai Erangiya" song sung by Suchitra provides a unique feel to listeners, a feel of drenching in the rain. The rhythm and orchestration is the USP of the song.
* "Mazhaiye Mazhaiye" song written by Viveka and sung by Ranjith is one of the melody in the movie.

Eeram is a must watch movie for all those who are waiting to watch a horror movie in tamil after a long gap.Eeram  lives up to its theme – all is wet and watery in the film from the first frame till the last.The movie crossed about  $1 million.

They also see that the wicked characters enjoy the joys and comforts of their bad life for a long time and only later on they are  discovered and punished.

But if they see good films containing good characters who lead good lives , religious characters showing great and strong love of God and social service-minded characters rendering social service, sometimes even at the cost of their life, the spectators are influenced by them, The spectators get good thoughts, good feelings and good emotions. It is a truism that boys and girls, young men and young ladies imitate the heroes and the heroines of the films. They wear the dresses which the heroes and the heroines are seen wearing in the films. They imitate those characters' manner and mannerisms in their real life. This is how some young boys and some young ladies are seen smoking secretly or openly at restaurants.

Young boys indulge in Eve-teasing at the bus stops or follow the ladies and make love to them at the bus stop, at the shops, at the market place or along the road after having seeing such love making in the films. They naturally get into trouble when they are captured by the public or by the police. On seeing sexy films, girls begin to dress like the women in the films.The teachers and the parents who make strenuous efforts to make them educated ladies and gentlemen of character are disappointed. The young lose their good conduct and lose sight of the moral values and human values.

On hearing about or seeing the actors and actresses earning a lot of money, many thousands o young men and women run away to the cities where film studios are situated with the hope and ambition to become film stars. Most of them get ruined. Good films dealing with the lives of saints, pious people, famous poets or patriots do not attract them. Only a few people are influenced by such films and they become good or religious or patriotic people. For the purpose of making money out of the films they produce, the film producers add the mass attraction scenes which contain fight,sex,dance and song. Young people imbibe the bad elements in the films and become wicked. by catering to the cheap tastes, the film producers manufacture wicked men and women in the society. It is a disservice rendered to the human society.

Film producers should produce films of educative value. Noble theme and decent dialogues will make young people decent citizens. The films is the best medium to teach or preach the moral values of life and noble ideologies. The films should not be over romantic, presenting many unbelievable incidents. They should present realistic or true or life stories. They should reflect the culture of the country, remove the wrong beliefs of the people and offer noble ideals.  They should have not only commercial values but also cultural and social values.

This movie was produced by V Vijay Kumar Varma.The music of this film composed by M. M. Keeravani. NTR played two characters in this movie, one was Simhadri and the other one was Singamalai. First Half of the film is very much entertaining and liked by all sections of the audiences. The tempo in the second half goes down. The second half is stuffed by 1 hour of Kerala flashback episode. The second half does appeal to the masses a lot. Over all, its a good film that would give value for money you spent on ticket. This film was released in the year 2003. This is the third movie for him. This movie starring Nitin, Genelia, Pradeep Rawat, Nassar, Sashank, Rajiv Kanakala, Tanikella Bharani, Indu, Venu Madhav. This movie was released in the year 2004.The film starts with a terrific episode, But later the film goes slow and little boring. The second half is good and the Climax is excellent. Plus points of the film are Raja Mouli's stylish taking and MM Keeravani music. The box office prospects of this film would depend on how youth embrace this film. This film opened with terrific collections. This movie was produced by A Bharati. This movie got the best villain award in FILMFARE. It was a hit in the year 2004.

Chatrapati

The Fourth movie for the director is Chatrapati. This movie starring Prabhas, Sriya Saran, Bhanu Priya, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Pradeep Rawat, Venu Madhav, Narendra Jha, Shafi, Jaya Prakash Reddy, Jeeva, Sekhar, Ajay, Arti Agarwal, Surya, Mumaith Khan. The item song was done by Mumaith Khan. First half is excellent with great mass orientation. Second half has more sentimental feel. First half of the film is about how Sivaji raises to the level of Chatrapati. The second half is about Sivaji winning back his mother and brother. This film is definitely a good film. Vikramarkudu

This is the Fifth film for him. This movie starring Ravi Teja, Anushka, Prakash Raj, Vineeth Kumar, Brahmanandam, Ruthika, Rajiv Kanakala, Raghubabu, Ali, Ajay, Jayaprakash Reddy, Sekhar, Amit Kumar, Meghana Naidu, Naveen, Babu Neha, Prameela Rani, Baby Harshi & Matser RishiFirst half of the film is entertaining with ruthless mass comedy by Ravi Teja. Second half goes in serious mode with excessive action orientation. This film too has all the masala the common man expects from any mass entertainer. The plus points of the film are comedy by Sathi Babu character, serious histrionics by Vikram Rathod character, appropriate dialogues, nice background music and Rajamouli’s execution. The negative points are too much of mass orientation, slow pace of the film, vulgarity and lack of class orientation. On a whole, Vikramarkudu is another  blockbuster for Rajamouli. Yamadonga

The Sixth film for him is Yamadonga. This movie starring Mohan Babu, NTR, Priyamani, Mamata Mohandas, Kushboo, Jaya Prakash Reddy, Narendra Jha, Rajiv Kanakala, Naresh, Ali, Brahmanandam, MS Narayana, Raghubabu. Item song was done by Rambha, , Preeti Jingyani, Navaneet Kaur, Archana. First half of the film is entertaining. The second half should have been better. The plus points of the film are Mohan Babu, NTR, sets, cinematography and music. The runtime of the film is lengthy (3.05 hours). Yamadonga is a different film for the mass director Rajamouli. It was a BLOCK BUSTER in the year 2007. This film collected nearly 22 crores.

Magadheera

The film no.7 for the director Rajamouli is Magadheera. This movie starring Ram Charan Teja, Kajal Agarwal, Srihari, Sunil, Brahmanandam, Sarath Babu, Rao Ramesh, Surya, Sameer, Sekhar, Kim Sharma, Saloni & Hema. The item song was done by Mumaith Khan. Opening episode of the movie is superb. First half of the movie is goog and second half is excellent. Mainly the flashback episode is superb. The plus points of the movie are Ram Charan Teja, novel subject of rebirth, flashback episode, grandeur and commercial pay offs. On a whole, Magadheera might not be a great film. But it is a good entertainer with nicely packed commercial elements and grandeur. This movie created a history in Telugu film industry and collected nearly 70 crores. The film is now running towards 100 days with record collections in its pocket.
