Watching Movies: Good OR Bad

Hi……to all readers. Today I am going to discuss my thinking on watching movies.

Do you know me ? Come on try to know me who I am ? I am teacher for new generation peoples. I am teaching you how to smoke, drink, waste money, make enemies, make money etc. Again I am asking do you know me ? Yes my name is movie.

Every Friday when we are wicking up from sleeping first we are watching news paper and finding that which new movies are realized in this week. And then we are deciding which movie I will watch today. We are bunking our college, office, school and taking some friends or girlfriend going to multiplex and wasting our valuable money on tickets. Yes its true that we are wasting our money after enjoying and know something. So lets know what type of knowledge we are getting from movie. Is it bad or good?

When we are enjoying movies at that time we are learning some bad things. One of the bad thing is we are bunking our valuable college days and school days, we are definitely suffer for that and at that time one of the region will be watching movies. We watching in movies hero is smoking in different different style, after watching that we are trying that and many little children’s smoking habits are due to this movies, many people are learning to smoke from movies. We are watching hero is drinking, taking drugs and we are learning that. We are watching fighting and different types of stunt, action peoples are inspired from  that and they are trying to do that action to show that to their friends or impress them. They also fighting with other peoples for small things. Girls are watching actresses small dress, style, makeup and jewelries. Then girls wearing that type of dress, doing makeup and style to impress others. Many husband- wife problems are generated due to these movies.

Due to movies like horror, investigation, murder in movies, robbery many problems are generated in our nation. Bank robbery are somewhat due to these movies. Little wars between peoples is also due to movies. Rape cases are increasing, somewhere movie are responsible for this. Now a days chain snatching  cases are also increasing some bikers coming speedily and snatching chain. Accident case are also increasing due to these, peoples are not wearing helmet for fashion and for maintain their style of hair, they also driving fast bikes like they are heroes and by doing these they are doing accident. They are going to hospital for these style and taking other with them whose not any problem, they are not even knows that person. Girls are wearing small dress, doing style and makeup then some stupid boys are teasing them. Now tell me who is responsible for this girl, boys or movies which is teaching these to do. We all knows Some boys saying to girls romantic things like in hero style and girls starting to trust on them and doing whatever boy says, then boy shooting her clips and blackmailing that girl. I think all above things are due to movies.

Not all movies are bad some comedy, family and god’s movies from which we are learning some good things, our culture and about god. These type of movies are good.

Very less peoples will tell you that movies are bad for you because about 40% business is depend on movies. Multiplex, cloths store and  food canteen, bars are running due to this.Now I hope you can understand that movies are good or bad for you.

Here let us see some of the best movies of an actor and I guess if you would have watched these movies, you will accept the fact that these movies transformed a young actor into a mature actor, and now he is considered as one of the leading star, but still many fans believe that when it comes to acting, he doesn’t try any new ideas or different role and at present he is overtaken by many actors who try very innovative ideas.

I guess most of the Tamil cinema fans would have guessed about the actor which we are discussing. Yes, we will see the best 3 films of Vijay and as a matter of fact, it is really difficult to see these kinds of film from him at present and now being a mass actor, he simply follows his own way and many people believe that the theme of all his present movies follows the same pattern and some goes to the extent of saying that they knew what will happen in the film, i.e. they knew when the songs and fight will come even before watching the movie, and the reason how they are able to knew this is simple, because in all his films the theme and format is more or less same.

But apart from that many small kids believe he is the one of the best actor, and he will be the next super star. On the contrary there are lots of young college students will oppose this, because they want an actor to do new roles in his movies and each film must be different than the previous one. So let us not go in detail about the different people’s point of view and Vijay is still one of the best actor and a very very talented dancer and he has lot of fans in the state, which made gave him an opportunity to be the brand ambassador of the IPL team, Chennai Super Kings.

Friends, this is really an amazing movie and this was a blockbuster and this made Anil Kapoor to produce for the remake version in Hindi, named as Badhaai ho Badhaai.This is as usual a love story, but a very different story. This also covers an important concept of not to hate people on the basis of religion, but said in a different way.

The story of the film goes like this, Christian and Hindu families in a village were good friends, until a boy (from the Christian family- Robert) and girl( from Hindu family – Janaki) of these families fell in love and ran out of the village. So after that these families hate each other.

After some years Vijay comes to the village saying that he is the son of Robert and Janaki. At first both the family hates him but later they managed to find the truth he is not the actual son of Robert and Janaki, but he is the one who was asked by Anju Aravind (girl of the Hindu family) to go the village and unite both the family.

At one instant Vijay was in love with Anju, but later realized that he was in love with a boy in the Christian family of that village and that is why he accepted to unite the family. Even though Vijay loved Anju, he never expressed his love to her.

But actually Sangeetha was the daughter of Robert and Janaki and she comes to the village by saying that she is the wife of Vijay as she wants to know the truth why Vijay lied to everyone. Later she also falls in love with Vijay, but Vijay rejects her saying that his first love will always be in his heart and he will never forget his first love. This film was a huge box office hit grossing around 10 crores ( present value). Credit must go to Vikraman, the director of the film. This film also has some good songs like “ Anandham Anandham Padum…..”, thanks to the music director S.A Rajkumar.

#) Kadhalukku Mariyadhai

This is yet another blockbuster film and this time it is a remake of Malayalam film called as Aniyathipravu. Directed by Fazil this is a turning point in his film carrier and this is again a love story. But the directed has done a great job in explaining that it is wrong for the lovers to run away from the family, rather it would be nice if they get married after getting permission from their parents.

All the songs in this film were huge hit and the Maestro Ilayaraja proved again, why he is called as the music genius. We must also the appreciate the acting of Sivakumar , Sri Vidya and Radha Ravi. Apart from being a good dancer, Vijiay also used to sing some times and in this film he has sung a song called as “Oh Baby Baby”. This film did a great job at the box office and it groused around 15 crores (present value)

#) Thulladha Manamum Thullum

Director Ezhil’s Thullada Manamum Thullum is yet another milestone in Vijay’s carrier and this Vijay, Simran starring film grossed around 20 crores at the box office. This film was later remade in Nuvvu Vasthavani in Telugu.This is yet another love story and this time his lover Simran doesn’t know Vijay's face as she lost her eyes in an accident, and unfortunately Vijay is responsible for this.

Earlier Simran was very much fond of Vijay’s song, yet she was unable to see him. At the same time the circumstances project him as a transitive element. When Simran loses her eye sight, Vijay decided to help here, since he was responsible for Simran’s loss of sight, and he also hides his mother’s death to her, where he goes and cries in bathroom, making sure that Simran doesn’t know the news and gets upset.

Really Vijay’s acting was very good in this scene, and nowadays it is very difficult to see this type of acting from him. Later he takes her to an hospital in Mumbai for an operation, but unfortunately arrested by the police for wrong reasons. By the time he was in jail, Simran gets her eyesight back and moreover she also becomes a collector. After some years Vijay returns to Chennai and on the way he also shares his story to a group of college students.

When she met Simrain again as a collector, again Simran sees him as a rowdy who was responsible for the loss of eyesight, as she doesn’t knew that he was the actual person who saved her and was responsible for bringing her eyesight back. Later the confusion gets cleared and they join together.

Hi friends in this article let us see the review of the tamil movie "Dhaam Dhoom" directed by Jeeva, P. C. Sriram, Aneez Jeeva and K.Manikandan.Initially the movie was directed by Jeeva but due to his sudden death during the shooting period of the film let  his wife and his cameraman to handle the rest of the film.The movie is produced by Sunanda Murali Manohar and distributed by Ayngaran.Dhaam Dhoom is a action based romantic movie starring Jayam Ravi, Kangana Ranaut and Lakshmi Rai in the lead roles.The movie also has Jayaram, Srinath, Anu Hassan and Nizhalgal Ravi in important roles in the film.

Before going into the story let's see about the songs.The audio was released nearly five months before the release of the movie and it created huge expectations among the audience for the release of the movie.The music was by Harris Jayaraj and lyrics was by Na. Muthukumar and Pa. Vijay. Harris Jayaraj and Jeeva combination has given a number of good songs in '12B', 'Ullam Ketkumae' and 'Unnale Unnale' before.Now in Dhaam Dhoom the pair again rocked with mind-blowing songs.

The audio has totally has six songs out of which five where in the movie.'Anbe En Anbe' song has to be one of the best melody in the movie with the voice of Harish Raghvendra.'Pudhu Pudhu'song is the intro song for Jayam Ravi.'Dhiku Dhiku' song is a fast beat song by Benny and Sayanora.'Azhiyilae' song is another soft romantic song sung by Haricharan.'Saghiyae' song sung by Bombay Jayashree and Krishin has to be the best one in the film and one of the top tamil songs in 2008.

Storyline:

The movie starts with Gautam Subramaniam (Jeyam Ravi) a doctor who is all set to marry his love girl Shenba (Kangana Ranaut).Two weeks before his marriage he gets an opportunity from the Indian government to go to Russia to take part in a medical conference.In the flash back it is revealed that Gautham on a visit to his sister's village happens to meet Shenba (Kangana Ranaut) in the village and he fells in love with her.Though intially in Snenba's house they reject their love and finally her father gives green signal for their marriage.

Gautham along with five other doctors start their journey to Russia. In Moscow airport Gautam accidently meets Anna (Maria Kojernikova).Anna on seeing the police in the airport drops her jacket to Gautham and escapes from the place. Before Gautham could react Anna escapes from the spot. In the afternoon Anna meets Gautham in the hotel where he is staying and he gives her jacket.Gautham along with the other five doctors attend the medical conference.In the night time they all went to a club for relaxing.Both Gautham and Anna spend their time in the club.Gautham takes Anna to her room as she was fully drunken.As both where tired they feel asleep and in the next day morning Gautham is dragged by a couple of Russian police officers as Anna is found dead in her room.Gautham is arrested and sent to jail he cannot understand their language and pleads to the police that he dint kill Anna.

Aarthi (Lakshmi Rai) is appointed as the lawyer for Gautham and Raghavan Nambiar (Jayaram) is send by the Indian consulate to help in Gautham's case. Gautham escapes from the police and he his shot by the mafia gang somehow he manages and escapes from them.Then he finds Aarthi to tell his stand in this case.Aarthi falls in love with Gautham and after hearing his love with Shenba leaves her way. Aarthi and Gautham try to find evidence for the case.All the way in the movie Gautham is wanted by the police and he his chased by the mafia group in the same time.Gautham also meets Raghavan and asks him to help but Raghavan asks him to surrender to police as it is the best way for him to escape from the mafia.Again he is chased by the mafia gang but he escapes and stays in Aarthi's house for safety.Both of them find a important letter in the club where he and Anna meet.After collecting some more information Gautham suspects Raghavan that he might be in invloved in the case.

Gautham finally finds that Raghavan is the master mind behind this murder.At the climax it is revealed that Raghavan and few police officers where involved in his case and he tells that Anna was a drug trafficker and was having drugs in her jacket in the airport and for escaping from the police she dropped her jacket to Gautham.As Anna was slowly getting away from them he thought that Anna could tell all his drug dealings to the police so they killed her and put the blame on Gautham.Raghavan and the fraud police officer are killed by the police and Gautham is released from the case and he returns to Chennai. The movie ends with Gautham and Shenba joining hands for their marriage.

Hi friends in this article let us discuss about one of the interesting topics and that too it is related to cinema. Ya , we will see the development of the Indian cinema, and what made Indian cinema as one of the best in the world. People outside India really have a wrong conception that whenever someone says about Indian cinema, it is Bolywood.

But the thing is different here, because compared with the Hindi film industry the South Indian film industry that includes Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada, are doing exceptionally well and compared with that of Bolwood, many people outside the country watch these films, because there are lots of South Indians in various parts of the world.

But still the Hindi film Industry, unofficially called as Bolywood, does a great job and contribute well for the Indian cinema, because Hindi is the national language and naturally many people used to watch Hindi films. But many experts believe that the naming of the industry must not be copied form Holywood, like Kolywood (Tamil), Bolywood (Hindi), Tolywood (Telugu).

Because Indian cinema has its own tradition and culture and moreover as a country India is unique and so we need to maintain our culture and unique nature and we must name the industry according to our tradition and culture, rather than using the name which other country follows. Even using the name like Telugu Film Industry, Tamil Film Industry, Malayalam Film Industry, Hindi Film Industry, Kannada Film Industry is also good rather than using the foreign names.

It is not the correct word, when we used to say our films are not like International standard. I recently heard the interview of a great legend of Indian cinema, where he said it is wrong to use the word international standard; because this may make the early film makers that they didn’t produce good films. There is no such thing called International Standard, because every country have their own culture and tradition and that is what people except.

It will be very interesting when we compare the cinema style with that of our food habits. When we consider foreign people, they have different food habits and they used to have a simple food like burger, Pizza and most importantly they usually have a single item. But when we consider Indians, we have a complex food system, where we will start with Sambhar rice and finish with curd, with number of side dish.

Now comparing the Indian food to our cinema, like we have a variety of item for our lunch, our film also contains emotions, sentiment, action, comedy and most importantly the trade mark of Indian cinema Songs, whereas the foreign films mostly don’t have songs and follow a single concept like that of their food. Actually I heard this example I a TV show and was very much impressed. But this doesn’t mean that we should not adapt their method, because knowing the culture of world is very important.

So let us promote and encourage our cinema and also the world cinema and make the best of the entertainment available for us.
