If you want your website well placed in Google and other search engines, the smartest trick is to write good, informative and interesting articles that users want to read. At the same time, you should write the article in such a way that the search engines "like" it. If you find the article you have written in search engine results then it is called an SEO article. But you may be wondering how to write an SEO article and why promote them in the article databases? Well, the first and the foremost can be emphasized thus: Write articles that people will read them, not just because you want to crawl with the search engines!
But it is entirely legitimate to focus on keywords in the article. That way you will easily be able to optimize the search engines so that your article ranks better in search engine result pages. These words are often called keywords when we talk about search engines, as you may well call them trigger words when it comes to human beings. A typical trigger words that describe well the subject website is about, or simply what's likely that users will search for to find the information they are looking for.
If you buy a car and need a print of a contract, it is likely that you type "Car buying contract" when you are looking for this on the search engines. Car is a common word for the niche you operate in, while "contract" is the trigger word or the keyword and in all probability the user is most concerned with. Therefore, it may be nice to optimize for the word "contract" in an article you write, which is published on a website that deals with cars. Do you understand? It would by the way, perhaps also a good idea to write an article where you can also optimize for the word "sales contract".
Why write an article about the sale and purchase contracts, when you really only want to offer the contract in a PDF format? Ok, now it costs rarely money to download a contract from the net, so like, this is perhaps a bad example. But for now you can play with the idea that you actually got paid for each contract users are downloading from you. So therefore you would like to have as many people as possible just found your PDF document. - It's not so easy to search engine optimize a PDF document, so you would rather have written a quick article about the sale or purchase contracts, where this article is linked to the PDF document.
Search engines would now be able to easily see that there is text around the word "contract", which is built on a website that deals with cars. So, when I'm going out to buy a car, I would have looked for "Car Sales contract", and then I found your article. People might only read the text quickly, and then go to the actual contract through your link. You may agree probably having to press a second time to see what you want - instead of going back and start a new search. And it is actually the value of articles.
They consist of text, which the search engines like very well, while they may contain the correct keywords that makes a user can be pre-sold the product or service a seller may intend to sell. This means that not only am I being offered information about the topic I'm looking for, but it also "warms me up" to buy from the person or persons who wrote the article. A SEO article consists of two things. One is the relevant information on what to sell or give away and get clicks on ads etc. and the other the keywords that satisfy the search engines as well as the users’ interest.
The difference between a well-performing SEO Article versus a not-so-good article is how well-performing is the article from the author's website in terms of the number of keywords used. Or putting it another way: It lies in the density of the words that I am applying for. So the number of keywords should be in proportion to the number of other words in the article. A good SEO article should contain just enough keywords that a user does not really notice any difference when he reads any part of the article that it may seem "a little strange writing".
But this is alright, because visitors often do not read with awareness, they simply read fast which does not help search engines. They skim nothing. The search engine "measures" only the number of words in your article which is similar to what the user is searching for. And if you are good with the placement of these words, and have a density of minimum two per cent to a maximum of five percent, you often do quite well. This means that the keywords users are searching for is somewhere between 2% -5% of the entire article.
Higher than five percent density of keywords in articles will lead to both the user and the search engines looking at your article as spamming which, you will probably prefer to avoid. If you are smart, you can start writing articles as soon as you have time, and have something to write about and I expect that you have already started, since you took time to read this. To promote your article to as many users as possible, publish the article in article directories. Article directories can help you to spread you article to as many as viewers as possible.
But be sure to include your links in a few places in the article then. Hope you have understood how to write SEO articles and how to build them up as well. For more ideas on articles, you can always surf the net for several good ideas and examples of what I mean.
