How to make life easier and simple

That's great idea as most of kids follow what their parents want them to do. But in present era parents should understand interest of their kids and allow them what they want in spite of forcing them what they want. There should be counselling centers with in schools which may help kids to understand scope of the career what kids may be choosing after completion of school education.

Life can be made easier and simple not by the sermons and preachings of some others.  It's the concerned person's responsibility to find out what his NICHE  is. Legendary Music composer A.R. Rehman neither listened to sermons nor the parents . He simply discovered his niche and dropped out of school to follow his niche. And we all know what he's today.

Life is all about thinking what you are and what is going to happen, as many a times it is a good idea to accept good advices such as eminent personalities and look at life as it is and it promise you for a better tomorrow and best present.

" Know thy self" is the thumb rule to make life easier. Discover your strong points first and then act.

SWOT analysis of self is ultimate destination to know strong and weaker points and slowly consolidate stronger points and provides strength to weaker points.

I meant SWOT analysis when I said, "Know thy self."

Every one from cradle to grave learns more from own experience. Others only can inspire and guide to some extent. The bottleneck is vast disparity between what we say and do. When a kid sees that his father or teacher smokes and talk foul language, he cannot learn by sermon the ill effects of smoking and polite behavior. 

True. There should not be a gap between the CUP and LIP. Whatever toy do you should do by example. Not empty sermons.

Truly not everything is learnt by sermons, its more by actions of persons. Words of experience may not touch the person to change but when they are read from imminent personalities life and from self help books they make a profound impact.

You are right. Learning from eminent and successful people and from self help books one can enrich his life. I learned entire art course from Walter T. Foster series of books. These self help books made me a professional designer and right now I'm working for several advertising agencies as a web designer.

Life will be miserable if we do not get proper guidance in the right time. Children, based on their inherent talent and with the support and guidance of their teachers and friends, can identify their goals in life. But, it is the parents’ responsibility to guide them through the right paths. 

Parents are first teachers of the children. They should set an example. Children are great learners and they have incredible quality of imitating. Which is why parents have a bigger responsibility in making a smooth course for the children to make the life life easier. Then next responsibility lies with the teachers in the later stage when the child goes to the school. That's why they say, MatruDevo Bhava , acharya Devo Bhava .

In a nuclear family, where both the husband and wife are working, they may find it difficult to care their children properly. But, as you rightly said the parents have the primary responsibility about their children, and they cannot keep off from this great task due to any reasons.  

In nuclear families also I have seen one of the parents resign to ensure right parenting. Such sacrifices are a must in order to pave the way for a life of eternal happiness for their children. 

Young generation's biggest problem is that they do a lot of things without thinking about it whether it is right or wrong and that's why their life becomes hard.

They need to grow themselves little more.

One should not be in a hurry. Being hasty in any activity will land you in trouble

Surprisingly, this is two years old thread. I wonder whether people have no idea for new threads.  Let me add that plain thinking and simple living are key to happy life. 

That is the problem. Discussion forums have become dull because of lack of new topics. Members should post new topics to make the discussion forums lively

Is there any point in going through the trouble of looking for interesting topics because we know that a member uses every discussion to grab points rather than add information, so it hardly matters now. ..
