They broke many religious and social taboos and braved many threats but their romance finally won the day.

Dr Rybi Varghese, a nun belonging to a convent in Angamaly, and Sanoj, a Hindu youth of Thalikkulam, were chat friends who fell in love after exchanging their innermost feelings online.

After months of rattling out their thoughts on the keyboard, Dr Rybi, who was working in Ukraine, and Sanoj, an accountant with a private firm in Muscat, decided to flout traditions and tie the knot.

There is nothing wrong with marriage. It would be okay if the nun had not converted to Hinduism. It is not understandable how someone can change all beliefs just for marriage. Has the nun lost faith in Christ and Bible. This may be. Then has she also suddenly switched her faith to Hindu beliefs. all this appears bizarre.

It would be a matter of greater appreciation if they married retaining their individual faiths.

It's very Great. Religion and cast is not important in true love.

Triumph of love here! No matter which religion do they belong to!
True love knows no boundaries whatsoever and if two persons are deeply involved in love then caste, creed and religion becomes secondary and if it becomes an issue then certainly it is not true love and something else...
Sathish has raised a good question. many search girls for themselves in own caste. Is this true love. This is not even love- not to speak of true love.

Chinmoy-It would be triumph of love if the 'nun' had not adopted Hindu religion. Even if the 'nun's love is true, the boy's love is untrue. why he needed the nun to convert to Hindu religion for marrying him.

That's a pertinent point,Gulshan! But the point here if she was forced into accepting it and if the answer is 'yes' then it projects her sacrifice for love in a more glorious light!
Love is blind, and sees no religion no caste, all are human beings and humanity is the only religion
