Dell has expanded its smartphone portfolio in the country with the addition of Dell Venue and Dell Venue Pro smartphones. The handsets were launched at the Bangalore Fashion week.

Dell Venue is based on Android 2.2 operating system. The smartphone has a 4.1-inch AMOLED display with curved Gorilla Glass. Dell Venue runs on 1GHz Snapdragon QSD8250 processor. It comes with an 8 megapixel camera with autofocus and 4x Zoom. The smartphone has 512MB RAM and 1GB ROM.
On business features front, Venue supports ActiveSync and QuickOffice. Other features include, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 2.1, A-GPS, gravity sensor, e-compass and 1400mAh battery.
Venue Pro is Dell's first Microsoft Windows Phone 7 smartphone. Just like Dell Venue, Dell Venue Pro runs on a 1GHz Snapdragon processor. The smartphone, which comes in a slider form factor, has a 4.1 inch Gorilla Glass AMOLED display. The Venue Pro features a sliding vertical QWERTY keypad and comes with XBOX Live and pre-loaded work/life applications.
Other features include a 5-megapixel camera and high-speed 3.5G wireless.
Dell venue is priced at Rs 29,990 and Dell Venue Pro is priced at Rs 34,990.
