    Yes Aamir was hre in our city yesterday and has promised all possible support to girl and family of the victim. But that was not a result of Aamir's show. That was the only possible result in cases like these in this particular area.

    Oh that's sad. I am really upset to know this how cheap life of human beings has become in recent days. Love marriages are still not accepted by people its really strange when they have nothing to do when couple is happy after marrying. :)

    Honestly I fail to understand this kind of mentality , wanting to take a life and call it honor ! Unless they take some very strong measures against such things , this will keep happening.Our society seems to be growing backwards in some ways

    Yes she is also now being threatened, goes to show the kind of law and order failure we have in our country, anybody can openly kill in the name of honor and get away with it....

    It is not easy to escape the Khap Panchayats dictats. These panchayats are really dominant and real administrators. Disobeying the Khap Panchayat and then going on TV for speaking against them proved costly. Of course, this isd sad.

    The day she was talking to Aamir on TV the people from Kaps were also there and they were looking at them the way that made their intentions clear. Aamir has promised to provide video tapes to local police although the threatening warnings were not telecast directly..

    I wish I had seen this episode...However, it looks like Hitlers rule when people cannot speak against them even marry against their wishes, this is ridiculous.I feel that the government should do some serious thinking and if possible take way all their rights which is what gives them the power and the arrogance in the first place...
