People follow the way of their elders. From the very childhood, you see your elders throwing things in anger. You just follow.

Really nice answer!!!

I have seen my father throwing plates many times if a quarrel occurs, while sitting for a dinner    But I have rarely seen it in my brother
They throw them because they can not pull any thing. I have a different way I punch my boxing bag.
Sandhya its a telugu movie, swayamkrushi. Hero is chiranjeevi.

In that movie, chiranjeevi is a cobbler. and he works hard and develops a shopping complex. He used to look of a small boy who is a son of his sister. So when the son says in court he hate him and he want to leave chiranjeevi. then chiranjeevi gets much anger.and chiranjeevi goes to his shopping complex and there in his personal room he start making new foot ware with his hands without using any machine. that means he used his anger that energy also for some usage for his development.
I love that movie so much because I am a fan of Chiru.
that movie gives inspiration to everyone who want to with stand on their feet
Yes really that is a inspirational movies every character teaches us one life lesson.
Sometimes,it becomes impossible for the person to be in their control themselves, because of certain things they see or they experience and that's they lose their control.
But throwing thing is not the solution, a proper solution I mean, this could help them steam-out a bit but ultimately they will loose some of their costly items as well, there are better ways to control anger.
In anger I may talk a lot. Yet didn't feel the need of throwing things
Throwing things is better than talking it may hurt many ones.

Anger is a negative and destructive feeling. This will provoke you to do only destroying, throwing away, breaking etc. In extreme anger, one may even kill himself.
