Yes old people go their but their age must be below 70 years and they must pass the medical fitness test. Read the link provided by Suny. :(
I can pass the test and go there as that is not a problem for me. You see every one must pass the test not only old people. 67 people died almost all young while going to Amarnath this year so far. This is height and lac of Oxygen that is fatal.
